This melon with its orange flesh is the most famous variety in Europe. We use the best quality cantaloupe for our frozen melons. These come in the form of tasty melon balls. They guarantee a delicious freshness that not only quenches your thirst, but is also super healthy. ### **Tropical and subtropical fruit** The cantaloupe owes its name to the Italian village of Cantalupo in Sabina. That’s because this was the first place in Europe to start cultivating and growing melons. The cantaloupe originally comes from India and Africa. Melons are still grown mainly in tropical and subtropical countries. The melon, which is part of the cucumber, zucchini and pumpkin family, is officially known as a fruit. There is no shortage of delicious flesh on the cantaloupe. So we like to use it for our frozen melon balls. ### **Low in calories, rich in vitamins** Melons, whether fresh or frozen, contain few calories. So you can eat plenty of them without it affecting your weight. On the other hand, this fruit is rich in minerals and vitamins A and C. Frozen melon is therefore characterized by a high nutrient content. Did you know that 250 grams of cantaloupe is enough for the recommended daily amount of vitamin C? Melon is super healthy anyway and among its benefits are a beautiful healthy skin. It is also good for your eyes and blood pressure as well as improving the immune system. Above all, it is also a perfect thirst quencher thanks to the large amount of moisture contained in the flesh. ### **Frozen melon, deliciously sweet** With a Brix value of 8.6 (amount of natural sugars), frozen melon tastes deliciously sweet, of that there can be no doubt. So it’s ideal as a healthy evening snack when with family or friends. You can of course also make a juicy smoothie or a delicious fruit salad with it. Melon balls are also excellent when wrapped in a layer of thinly sliced Parma ham. The combination of sweet and salty is a real treat for the taste buds. ### **Buy frozen melon** As well as frozen melons, you can also order other kinds of frozen fruit from us. After all, melon also tastes great in combination with lots of other kinds of fruit. So you can easily put together a delicious fruit salad from frozen melon and other kinds of fresh and frozen fruit. You can always count on the best quality products.
